Year two of a brand-new program. Our squad cheers the Mavs on at home football and basketball games, and our competition team is getting ready to compete for the first time in school history. We're the booster club that raises the money to get them there, and local sponsors make that possible.

A program built from scratch

A year of
firsts.

Goodyear High opened its doors in August 2025, and the cheer program started with it. Here's what this squad has done in a little over a year.

2025

The first-ever squad

Named in August 2025, the same month the school opened.

1^st

Performance: Cardinals halftime

Their very first show was on the field at State Farm Stadium with the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders, October 2025.

4^th

Camp Routine at UCA camp

And 5th in the Spirit Routine, July 2026: the first trophies the program brought home.

36–12

Year two's opener

The Mavs won the first home game of 2026 with the squad on the sideline.

Goodyear joins cheer and pom teams from across Arizona for the Cardinals' high school halftime show.
The school that sells the most tickets wins a Cardinals pep assembly on campus. Let's bring it to Goodyear.
Families can come to the morning practice on the Great Lawn for a behind-the-scenes look and photos.
